NimiPrivacy
In short: what you do in Nimi stays on your computer. Below is everything that leaves it, and why.
What stays on your computer
Conversations, memories, files, pages, finances, documents and the passwords kept in the vault. We have no copy of any of it. Exporting or deleting is up to you, at any time.
What goes to the AI
With a local model, nothing leaves your computer. With a provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, OpenRouter), what you ask goes straight from your PC to it, with your key, under its policy. On Plus, the request goes through our relay to the AI, which checks the subscription and counts the cost: nothing from the conversation is stored, and we only use providers that neither keep nor train on what you ask. We only keep AI usage numbers, tied to your account: the model, how many requests, their size, the cost, the time, whether it was text, a photo or an image and the area of Nimi it was used in (chat, Board, flow...), never what you did there (see the table below). The exception is creating images: some image models, marked "keeps data" in Nimi, may keep the image description and the photo you send to edit. The conversation never goes through them, and you choose the image model in Settings → AI models → Models by use.
The services you connect
If you connect Nimi to your email, calendar, GitHub or another service, it talks to that service directly, from your computer.
How you sign in
Only with your email: each time, we send a 6-digit code to it. There is no password, so there is no password stored with us to leak. We don't use Google or social media sign-in either.
What our server keeps
Nimi talks to our server to check your subscription and offer updates; on Plus, the relay also counts AI usage. This is what it keeps:

Payment
It happens on the payment provider's page, where you enter your name, tax ID and card or Pix. We don't receive or keep that data: only the plan, the subscription status, the dates and the amounts.

See, correct or delete
Write to support: we send you a file with everything we keep about you, correct it or delete your account. What tax law requires us to keep stays only for that period, without your email.
